Reader's Theatre a Success!

The Reader's Theater was a huge success Friday night. Many thanks to the performers and Deborah Morgan!

Professor Deborah Morgan directed and adapted scenes from Zora Neale Hurston's Their Eyes Were Watching God for the Readers' Theatre.

Joyful VSU students attend the Readers’ Theatre performance at Odum Library, part of The Big Read.

Reader's Theatre gave a dramatic reading of a (mostly) humourous excerpt from Their Eyes Were Watching God, the story of a notorious yellow mule. They play a variety of characters, with synchronized movements. It's a lot of fun and only lasts about 20 minutes.

If you missed this, they'll do it again at the Children's Festival and the Keynote event.
